Dreams...Dreams...Dreams...
It’s the Thursday before the Friday of the 20th of every Monday and today is the day people fright most because today is Dreamy day which means we take our dream catchers to city hall and release them and that means a night full of all our worst dreams come back and say goodbye before they are gone forever once they are released they can’t come back they can’t be recaught that’s why people fight today the most. Its 7:00pm and the town has gathered at city hall hope, frights, laughter is going around and people want new month ahead of them new dreams there is a theory that when you stop dreaming your catcher has fulfilled its purpose in your life and you have been told to hang your catcher up and it holds your soul. My week has been scary last night I did not have a dream, but they shall reveal tonight if it is time to capture my soul and my time has come to an end the end has been a scary thought and the toucher and terrifying thoughts run through my mind like a race car but once I thought I knew I saw the race car and it was in my imagination so I still had hope there was chance that I was not to be captured I was going to stay but in the back of my mind I knew there was still a chance that’s what scared me most. The reading doesn’t start until 11:30. If the catcher is going to trap your soul it does it at midnight our until Mayor Mike has touched, seen, envisioned your dreams. The truth be told the mayor enjoys our dreams that are caught which is quite strange but he does as he pleases and it is 10:45 I should be called soon it has been a nice friendly gathering but the ceremony is about to start the towns people line up and await his arrival once he arrives he sees me looks me directly in the eyes and smiles it was 11:30 it was almost my turn... 11:45 came my name was called...?
“Abby Lukas!”
“...your catcher please...”
This was it; it was my time?...
“...Silence though the city hall...”
“your catcher has one thing to collect child and you are that one thing.”
“yes, your kind sir”
As the sun rose from the clouds my body was in closed in a tight space a place with cries and laughter and the worst imaginable things I was captured I was hung and I was to watch the children play from a distance and to put my soul to rest.
